Vegan products to have a new mandatory logo V

FSSAI for the first time has decided to label all vegan products with a green V. This will help people identify vegan products easily. There are many now who are turning veganism as being aware or due to some allergy. So this initiative will help the vegans the ease of identification.

For vegetarian and non vegetarian products there are already green and red dots respectively put on the packaged food items.
