The Cliched glass Ceiling is difficult to break in the tech world. But now we have Sindhu Gangadharan as the SVP and MD at SAP Labs India. A software engineer from early 90s and born and brought up in Bengaluru, which was also taking birth as the tech hub in 90s, Sindhu has crossed many challenges and lived upto them.

From Bengaluru, we move across to remote Nagaland in North East India where a simple young girl Lily has redefined the term ‘Delivery Boy’. Yes you heard it right, Lily delivers LPG cylinders each day and upto 40 of them just like her male counterparts. This is no mean feat and if not breaking Glass Ceiling, this is stepping on to the road less travelled!

With nearly 9,000 employees across five cities, SAP Labs India is the second largest location in the SAP Labs Network and is central to the company’s product development strategy.  Sindhu Gangadharan has formerly served in key and challenging roles before and Sindhu is now working at SAP Labs to enhance capabilities to bridge COVID-19 induced gaps. Her role includes helping companies with workflow management, flexible processes, end-to-end human experience management, and more.

Equally challenging is the role of Lily delivering upto 40 cylinders each day in the hilly terrain of Nagaland. She follows all protocols and lives upto each challenge every day. Big cheer to these two gutsy women who are doing what felt right for them and setting and elevating the benchmark much higher!
