Who would not remember bespectacled Naina of Kal ho Na ho who believes in living life textbook style or another Naina of Ye Jawani hai Deewani who has not experienced any life beyond her studies and now wants to break free. The geeky Naina sure turns into full of spirits girl and the makeover also means a no spectacle look. These were the times when Spectacles were a near stigma for at least the fairer sex. Thankfully no more eyebrows are raised and acceptance is high. We have a mindset shift here where we are accepting the eyes behind the glasses.
